Why don't you focus on fixing your problem instead of wondering why others are having a problem that sounds like yours but not necessarily relate to yours?
Also, I participate here everyday and a "lot of persons" are not having safe mode problems. If you searched the forum for 'Safe Mode', of course, you are gonna get a lot of results for it, since it is listing results that go back as far as that spans more than just 'Install, Upgrade and Activate' forum. I asked you to remove those two products then attempt the repair again, its possible those two might be causing problems preventing Windows from starting properly.
The fact that you installed just those two programs only, would suggest the problem might relate to them. Since you only seemed to have installed two programs so far, you could try doing a reinstall.
If you have any personal data on the drive, try the following:. The partition you selected might contain files from a previous Windows Installation. If it does, these files and folders will be moved to a folder named Windows. You will be able to access the information in Windows. So even doing a custom install, your personal files are still preserved. Click OK. Setup will now start the installation.
During the installation, your machine will be restarted several times. When the installation is complete, you can complete the Out of Box experience such as selecting your laptop, create a username, password, your time zone. You can then proceed to download the latest updates for Windows and reinstall your applications and drivers. You can then recover your personal files from the Windows.
